About Me.
I am a composition and ethnomusicology master’s student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. My compositions explore a blend of styles and genres, drawing influence from my work in Chinese music alongside studies in Jazz, Funk, Rock, World Music, and Contemporary Art Music.
In 2017, I studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music as part of an exchange program. I was also the winner of a composition competition held by the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing in December 2021, which led to an invitation to present at a conference there in October 2023.
My works have been performed in both Beijing and Shanghai, and have also been broadcast on ABC Radio National.

Meet Our Music
Music has always been a way for me to explore culture, emotion, and storytelling. My work blends influences from Chinese music, Jazz, Funk, Rock, World Music, and Contemporary Art Music to create compositions that are both cinematic and deeply personal.
Each piece is shaped by movement, texture, and atmosphere — drawing inspiration from lived experiences, cultural exchange, and the connection between traditional and contemporary sounds. Whether written for performance, film, or creative collaboration, my music aims to create immersive and memorable experiences for listeners.
